Your cleaning agreement in halls

Keeping yourself and those around you safe in halls starts with making sure your bathroom and kitchen are kept clean.

It's important that you clean these areas as you go and be mindful that others will be using these areas too.

Watch our cleaning video guide below, to find out how you can keep your home clean - note this is relevant to processes in place in Residential Services managed halls. If you live in Aspire Point, Blithehale Court or Sherren House please speak with your own halls team regarding the relevant cleaning process for your hall.

When it comes to the kitchen, take a look below at your responsibilities as a resident, and the duties of the Queen Mary Residential Cleaning team, you can also download a copy of the kitchen cleaning agreement.

You may also be living in a flat with shared bathroom facilities, therefore it's important to take note of the Shared Bathroom Cleaning Agreement too.

These agreements are relevant for all halls except Aspire Point, Blithehale Court, and Sherren House, which have their own policies, if you live there, speak with the Reception team in your building.

If you and your flatmates all do your bit to keep it clean, you can all enjoy living safely during your time with us!
