With the increasing amount of work taking place at the top of Westfield Way to build the new School of Business Management, it is becoming increasingly difficult for taxis (including Bolt, Uber, Black Cabs, and mini-cabs) to safely drop people off in this area and for residents to collect takeaway deliveries ordered from an app (e.g., Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Deliveroo) or directly with a takeaway.

Following an assessment of the options available, the University has decided to designate the Law Building Gate (i.e. the entrance between ArtsOne and Law) as a drop-off and takeaway collection point overnight between 19:00 and 08:00, 7 days a week. To support residents, a Security Guard will be present throughout and student ID cards should be taken to show to enter campus after being dropped off or when collecting takeaways.

During these hours, please ensure you request any deliveries or taxi pick-ups and drop-offs to/from this point and carry your student ID.
