The Tower Hamlets LGBTQ+ Community Forum provides LGBTQ+ residents within the borough the opportunity to have their say on how Tower Hamlets can be a safer, more welcoming place for our community. We host several Forum Meetings throughout the year, inviting organisations, local authorities, members of the Council as well as public, social and health services in the borough, to listen to the needs of our community.

In addition to this, we run several events, activities, focus groups and consultations throughout the year. Our five aims of the Forum are: - to act as a connector and an agent of change - to ensure there is nothing about us without us - to ensure that LGBTQ+ voices are heard - to improve access to services - to create safe spaces for our community. We are also looking for individuals who would be interested in being involved in consultations – these are often focus groups run by the local authority, health or voluntary sector organisations interested in the needs of LGBTQ+ people.
