There is always gonna be another mountain, but there is only one super-exclusive Aspire Point bouldering social right next door! Whether you've joined one of the previous socials before or you're completely new to the sport, City Bouldering Stratford and Residential Life are partnering up to give you a chance to climb for free and meet people from your building in the process. So, in the wise words of Miley Cyrus, keep on moving, keep climbing.

As always, you'll get free shoe hire alongside free entry for the social and the rest of the evening. This social is for new and experienced climbers alike and gives you an opportunity to meet some fellow residents while improving on or learning new bouldering skills. 

All you need to do is show up at the City Bouldering Stratford reception with your Residents' Rewards Card and student ID. If this is your first time at this climbing gym, please complete the registration form (coming soon!) beforehand to ensure a smooth arrival! Note that this event is for Aspire Point residents only.

What is bouldering? 

Bouldering is the hip sibling of traditional rope climbing. The difference? No ropes, short walls, and interesting problems. It's kind of like solving a puzzle with your body, where you start on one hold and have to make your way to the top of your chosen route. It's a super fun sport with a very strong sense of community, just type in 'bouldering' on YouTube and see how many videos come up!

Fear of heights? No worries, bouldering walls only go up to 4.5 meters and most beginner routes are even shorter.
