Design, decorate and send a postcard anywhere in the world!

Who do you miss right now?

Your family back home? Your best friend who’s studying abroad? Has it just been too long since you saw your favourite flatmate?

Let them know you’re thinking about them with a precious hand-crafted postcard!

How does it work?

We will provide you with a blank postcard. On the back you will write your message and the address of the recipient, wherever in the world they are. Then, it’s time to get creative!

You can decorate the postcard using watercolour paints, coloured marker pens or by cutting out and sticking a collage of images. We’ll provide the materials, the rest is up to you to show off your unique style.

Even Queenie the campus cat has her own postcards!

Things to know

·         Postcards are typically not sent in envelopes, and these postcards will be no different. Do not write anything you would not want the postman to see!

·         The postcards can be sent anywhere in the world, posted and paid for by Residential Life. Only postcards that are given to Residential Life at the end of the event can be posted by Residential Life. If you take your postcard home with you, we cannot pay for it to be posted at a later date.

·         You will need to write the recipient’s name and full address on the postcard before handing it over to Residential Life. Addresses that are not written clearly may prevent the postcard from reaching its destination.

I’m in – where is the event?

Residents who live on the Mile End campus should join us at the Chaplaincy Yurt on Tuesday 4 February from 4-6pm
