What is it and why do I need it?
You may be thinking, "Why do I need to prove I'm a student?" But you'll need it for things like:
- Opening a bank account
- Council tax exemption
- Proof of studentship
- Applying for a Schengen Visa
What is a student status letter?
It's basically a document that confirms you're a student provided by the University.
- Name of student
- Date of birth
- Intended Award
- Programme of study
- Mode of study
- Date of entry to the programme
- Expected date of completion
- Term-time address
- Home address
How do I receive one?
All fully enrolled students will be issued a digitally signed e-document by Gradintelligence once they have activated their Gradintelligence account. New students will be registered with Gradintelligence and sent an activation request email to their QMUL email address within 24 hours of full enrolment.
