Now you’ve been living in halls for a while, we want to ask for your help with providing some feedback on some of the services you use and your awareness of other things in halls.
What do I need to do?
We will contact, by email, all those who have lived with us since September 2025 to ask you to complete a short 3-minute survey with 8 questions using Survey Monkey.
Why should I complete the survey?
It’s your chance to tell us about how you find a range of services you use in halls, tell us about your awareness of other things and provide us with some direct feedback we can look at when planning services or providing feedback to those who provide services you use.
Once the survey closes, we prepare reports and actions for senior management to show how we’re doing and then use them in making decisions for future residents and to try new things based on your suggestions.
That’s great but what’s in it for me?
You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve told us how we are doing and that you’ve made suggestions to develop the halls experience further.
We are also offering you the chance to win one of 10 x £50 Queen Mary Food vouchers you can spend in The Curve, Cafe Grad or Nucleus.
How do I get myself into the draw for the Amazon voucher?
You will need to complete the feedback survey in full: providing your name and student ID number in the final question of the survey. It is one entry per resident, and we expect to notify all those who have won a voucher in the random draw by Monday 2 March 26.
Vouchers will be available to be collected from Residences Reception, and must be signed for along with production of a Student ID. Residents will be informed they have one to claim by the sending of an email to the Queen Mary email address shown against the student ID number entered into the survey, once we have checked the response is from a current resident in halls.
When does the survey close?
The survey will close at midday on Monday 23 February 26.
What should I do if I have a query?
Please email Residential Feedback if you have any questions about the survey.
We look forward to receiving your responses and hearing your feedback!
