Information you need to know before clicking purchase

If you've ordered a treat for yourself or need to pick up a parcel, it's useful to know what's nearby. This quick guide covers your main options, so your TikTok shop order doesn't go missing.

On campus:

Queen Mary doesn't run an on-campus post office; however, if you live in Mile End halls or the Student Village, there are parcel lockers located near Frances House.

• Collect courier-delivered parcels to pick up when you're free.
• The courier drops them off, and you'll receive a barcode or code to open the locker.

Post offices near campus:

Mile End is the nearest to campus, with it only being a 5-minute walk from Mile End halls. However, if you're staying in Alberti Stern, Ifor Evans or Stock Courts, you may prefer Globe Road. Both offer full Royal Mail services and are open Monday-Saturday.

• Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 9:00-18:00, Sat: 10:00-17:30, Sun: Closed

Globe Road:

• Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 9:00-17:30, Sat: 9:00-16:00, Sun: Closed

Delivery tips:

Make sure your order includes your full name, flat number and room letter. Your full postal address prevents any parcels from being missed or returned.
