Content made by students, for students

Posted 18 hours ago

To help you make the most of your time at Queen Mary!

Have you ever wondered who is behind the reels, tips and guides on our Queen May Residential Life social media? Well, it's actually your fellow students!

The content you see is powered by the Digital Creators Programme - a unique, student-led initiative designed to make sure our digital community is shaped by people who live it every day!

What is the Digital Creators Programme?

This is a student-led initiative designed specifically for RAs in partnership with CampusLife. The goal is very simple - to create engaging digital content for our Residential Life page as well as content for our Instagram platform.

Because the creators are current students, they know exactly what you are going through. They understand the excitement of moving in, the challenge of cooking your first meal and the best local spots to explore around London.

Follow @qmreslife on Instagram for more:

  • Hall Hacks: Quick video tours of laundry rooms, cooking tips for beginners, or room decor inspiration.
  • Local Guides: Photo blogs featuring the best study cafes around Mile End and affordable supermarkets.
  • Wellbeing Support: Relatable posts about overcoming homesickness and managing exam stress.
  • ResLife Events: Behind-the-scenes at campus activities, social nights and halls events.

Our student creators understand the same challenges, excitements and essential information needed for a great student life, which makes their content the perfect guide for a great life at Queen Mary.

If there's anything else you'd like to see from our Digital Creators, simply send us a DM on Instagram!
