Things to do in your last chunk of summer!

Summer in London is filled with activities and events that you and your friends can join in on and explore. But sometimes it can be hard to think of where to explore first.

We've put a list together of some local events and activities to get up to in your last few weeks in London:

Nottinghill Carnival

For its 60th anniversary, Nottinghill Carnival will feature an exciting Panorama Steal Band as well as its usual Parade throughout West London. Their theme this year is 'Respect' to celebrate creativity, community and cultural respect.

• Saturday 29th August: A ticketed day featuring the UK National Panorama Steel Band competition.
• Sunday 30th August: (Family day). Free to attend event, featuring J'ouvert, the Children's Parade!
• Monday 31st August: (Adults day) Free to attend, watch the parade, enjoy lively music and tasty street food stalls.

Now you see me

If you love a live show, Now you see me are in London from July 31st to September 6th. They're a popular illusionist act and stunt artists who bring the magic of cinema to life! The production of the Horsemen delivers a fast pace and striking visual experience. It's a brilliant way for you and your mates to experience an all-immersive show.

Rooftop Cinema Club

For those that love to wind down and binge watch movies, this is a brilliant experience you'll love. Rooftop Cinema Club are coming to London, most importantly to Stratford, only a 10-minute tube ride away! They're showing popular films like The Parent Trap, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Devil Wears Prada 2 and many more.

All Points East

Just a 25-minute walk from Mile End, All Points East Festival is taking place in Victoria Park! Running over two weekends (Friday 21st-Sunday 23rd & Friday 28th-Sunday 30th August), the festival will be featuring artists such as Zara Larsson, Sienna Spiro, Deftones, Tyler the Creator and Twenty One Pilots! All Points East prides themselves on not just being a music festival. They're all about sustainability and helping the environment with their sustainability policies, so you can too help to stay sustainable whilst having fun with your friends and enjoying some incredible music.
