Charity Week 2026

Fundraise with us! 🎉

Charity Week is taking place from Oct 26th to Nov 3rd, featuring many fundraising events supporting charities and many opportunities for you to take part in.

The events are organised by our lovely Khadija Asif from our Residences Reception team, who is covering the cost of the venue, food and licensing to ensure that all proceeds raised will directly go to the charities!

Our four charities include:

• The Citizens Foundation (UK) - supporting access to quality education for children in Pakistan
• Doctors of the World UK - providing healthcare for people who are excluded from it
• British Red Cross - supporting people in crisis in the UK and around the world
• UNICEF UK - protecting children's rights and wellbeing worldwide

📍Wednesday 28 October

Henna & Hot Chocolate | In aid of The Citizen Foundation (UK)

Warm hands, warm drinks and warm company. Enjoy beautiful henna and comforting hot chocolate at this casual, beginner-friendly fundraiser!

Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Where: Yurt behind St. Benet's Chapel

📍Thursday 29 October

Film Night: The President's Cake | In aid of Doctors of the World UK

Take a break from your busy week with a film, company and community spirit. You can also enjoy a slice of cake and a cup of hot chai!

Time: 5:30 PM

Where: Pinter Studio, Arts One

📍Friday 30 October

Games & Mocktails | In aid of Doctors of the World UK

Roll the dice, raise a mocktail and make some memories! Enjoy playing games with your friends whilst sipping on some delicious mocktails and supporting a charity.

Time: 6:00 PM

Treasure Hunt & Hot Chocolate | In aid of The Citizens Foundation (UK)

Explore our campus in a treasure hunt, carve pumpkins and enjoy hot chocolate while supporting children's education! Join your friends and fellow students for an afternoon of autumn activities.

Time: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Where: St. Benet's Chaplaincy, QMUL

📍Sunday 1 November

Fashion Show | In aid of UNICEF UK

Join the grand finale of Charity Week 2026 with an evening of emerging designers' runway collections and community, raising funds for UNICEF.

Time: Doors close at 5:30 PM

📍Monday 2 November

Speed Friending | In aid of British Red Cross

Come as you are and leave with a new friend! Meet new people, make meaningful connections and support children affected by conflict around the world.

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Where: Arts One Rehearsal Room

📍Tuesday 3 November

Paint & Sip | In aid of British Red Cross

No talent needed - just colour, calm and good company. Unleash your creativity and paint for a purpose at this relaxed, beginner-friendly, in-person event.

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
