The essential information you need before you move

Moving into halls is one of the most exciting parts of starting uni, but before you get here there's one important step to tick-off: completing your online Welcome induction. 

Your Welcome induction will cover all the essentials you need to thrive at Queen Mary, including things like: 

• Your Residential Life team
• Key contacts, including support services
• What is provided in your accommodation and what you might like to bring with you
• Personal safety and security
• Exploring the area
• Getting on with your flatmates
• Fire safety
• Making the most of your time at Queen Mary

And lots more useful information you'll need throughout your time at university. You must complete your Welcome induction to claim your Residents' Reward Card on move-in weekend which will give you access to Residential Life events.
