A reminder of what quality we expect of Reuse Fair donations

So you’re planning to donate items you no longer need to the Reuse Fair? Great! Thanks to people like you, the Queen Mary community is saving our students money, cutting down waste, and lowering carbon emissions. 

However, before you part with your item, please consider whether it is in the condition to be used by someone else – we want to make sure that items we Reuse are good quality, clean and safe for everyone. The donation points are not bins, and we go through each donation by hand. Staff members across the university and students’ union are working hard to run this scheme so please respect their safety and time by donating only what can be reused.  

We ask you to do a quality check before you donate it and think – would I use this and/or does it need a clean?
