What's the job?

This a temporary casual work contract for 12 months and you will be based in our Mile End Campus and will provide excellent customer service by welcoming, helping and serving guests and ensuring the front-of-house environment is always well kept, as well as assisting with servicing of food and beverages for all our events and outlets in our campuses. Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy objects. Additionally, availability to work evenings, some weekends, and bank holidays is necessary.

£14.77 per hour

Queen Mary Hospitality offer Allergens Awareness training, Level 2 training in Food Hygiene, free on-site lunch and hot drinks and inclusive employment policies.

About You

• Exceptional people skills, both customers facing and with other members of the team.
• An ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Strong attention into detail organisational skills.
• Strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Flexibility and available to work some long shifts
