Art & Culture
- Sculpture in the City, The 14th Edition of Sculpture in the City will be on display from 16 July 2025 to Spring 2026 and includes 11 artworks from renowned and emerging artists alike. Download the free app to explore and hear from the artist.
- Summer Science Exhibition 2025, Discover cutting-edge research and innovation at the Royal Society’s unmissable Summer Science Exhibition, 1 – 6 July 2025. This free event, suitable for all ages, showcases the latest research from across the UK, through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and talks.
Outdoor Activities
- Visit a Lavander Field at one of the parks in London. Its deliciously fragrant purple flowers typically arrive between June and September, peaking in August, when its rich scent fills the air and bees and bumblebees enjoy a pollen bonanza. London Vauxhall and Kennington Park.
- Mini Golf by Craig & Karl, The vibrant 9-hole mini golf course designed by acclaimed artists Craig Redman and Karl Maier has returned to Montgomery Square in Canary Wharf for summer 2025. This colourful, custom-designed course is free to play and open daily, offering the perfect mix of art and play for families, friends, and colleagues alike.
- Everyman on the Canal – Outdoor Cinema at King’s Cross. From 1 July to 18 August 2025, the iconic Everyman Cinema returns to Granary Square with its beloved Screen on the Canal — a free outdoor cinema experience set along the picturesque Regent’s Canal. Enjoy a curated selection of films, from cult classics to family favourites, all while lounging on deckchairs in a relaxed, open-air setting.
Special Events
- The Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta, the winds in May made the flight to stand down, there are 2 dates in July on Sunday 20th and 27Th July. The flight will proceed weather depending. Updates will be made on their page and social the preceding Friday.
- Tusk Turtle Trail, The Tusk Turtle Trail will launch in London on July 17th and run until September 2025, London’s streets will be home to a spectacular public art exhibition: the Tusk Turtle Trail. Featuring 16 life-sized turtle sculptures, each uniquely designed by renowned artists and public figures, the trail celebrates the beauty of marine turtles while raising awareness of their endangered status.
London is at its most vibrant in Summer during the sporting season. With the buzz of Wimbledon and the roar of the Euros filling the air, the city pulses with excitement and community spirit.
