Tell us about your time in halls!

How time flies! We are rapidly approaching the end of the academic year and your time with us in halls!

We'd say that during your stay, you’ve become an expert on all things Queen Mary Halls, and that’s why we need your help!

What do I need to do?

We have contacted by email all of you who have a licence expring in September to invite you to complete a short 3-minute survey to give feedback on your time in halls since September last year. You can also complete it through this Farewell Survey link or by clicking the button at the end of this article.

Why should I complete this?

It’s your chance to tell us how you rate the services provided in halls and lets us know how we are doing, what we can do differently and what you need from us that we may not have thought of.

Once the survey closes, we prepare reports and actions for senior management to show how we’re doing, they're presented at a meeting with senior people from across the University and then used in making decisions for how we provide services in halls and to support new ways of doing things.

That’s great, but what’s in it for me?

You’ll be satisfied knowing you’ve told us how we are doing and that you’ve made suggestions to further develop the halls experience. An example is the range and type of Residential Life events, or changes to the welcome induction you received to complete when you moved in to prepare you for life in halls which now has individual sections for Aspire Point, Blithehale Court and Sherren House so you see the team based there.
