Calling all water signs!

For the incredible price of £0, you can enjoy waterside views of Stratford's Olympic Park and the surrounding area by kayak! Take some photos, bask in the sun or just find your zen gliding along the canal. What more could you need?

There will be two travel groups to the event. We're meeting at the Mile End Residences Reception at 12:30pm and at the Aspire Point reception at 1pm.

Some information about the activity

• Please note that you have to be able to swim to participate in this activity.
• The canals are generally shallow and not very wide, but you will need to be physically able to get yourself to the side in the event of a capsize.
• On the day, please wear clothes suitable for moderate outdoor activity. People tend to stay mostly dry, other than a few paddle splashes.
• You may wish to bring sunscreen, a hat, drinking water and splash-proof jackets or trousers

Your ticket purchase includes a £5 deposit, which will be refunded upon attending the event. If you can no longer make it, please email residentiallife@qmul.ac.uk at least 24 hours in advance. We won’t be able to issue a refund for a no-show or late cancellation.
