There is always gonna be another mountain, but there is only one super-exclusive Blithehale and Sherren bouldering social! Whether you've joined one of the previous socials before or you're completely new to the sport, City Bouldering Aldgate and Residential Life are partnering up to give you a chance to climb for free and meet people from your building in the process. So, in the wise words of Miley Cyrus, keep on moving, keep climbing.

What is bouldering? 

Bouldering is the hip sibling of traditional rope climbing. The difference? No ropes, short walls, and interesting problems. It's kind of like solving a puzzle with your body, where you start on one hold and have to make your way to the top of your chosen route. It's a super fun sport with a very strong sense of community, just type in 'bouldering' on YouTube and see how many videos come up!

Fear of heights? No worries, bouldering walls only go up to 4.5 meters and most beginner routes are even shorter.
