Join us for the first Big Green Canal Clean in 2026 ♻!

It's time to get outdoorsy and make a difference while having a blast. We're talking litter picking, vegetation management, and we'll clean up the canal too. We're also throwing in free snacks to take home for all you awesome volunteers!

So, what's the plan?

You'll be part of tight-knit squads, armed with sweep nets, snatching up litter like a pro, and getting those plants in check along the canal edges.

Dress code?

Keep it chill and easy to move around in, as it could be warm! bring a jumper just in case of bad weather and rain. We got your back with High-Vis jackets, gloves, and all the gear you need to make this cleanup epic.

Rendezvous point? 

Meet us in the Students' Union Hub reception area at 2pm, otherwise we'll see you down by ResLife and the Canal, just look for the high-vis! 

For the clean up, you will be provided with sweep nets and gloves.
