Your Experience: Being Queer in Halls
This LGBTQ+ History Month, we want to hear from the community at Queen Mary.
Do you remember the run-up to uni? Do you recall how you felt; the excitement, the anxiety? Did you wonder what it would be like to be queer in halls?
If you could talk to your past self, what would you say?
We at ResLife want to create an article for prospective students, to offer advice, reassurance and anecdotes from current Queen Mary residents for incoming queer students. This could be anything from your time in halls, from overcoming a difficult situation to a moment you felt true belonging.
Every experience is valid and important, and we want to hear them all! Please use the form below and make your voice known.
