If you and your new housemates are looking for some fun and different activities to enjoy in the capital, there are plenty of exciting venues and events you probably don't know about yet!

Toca Social

Footie fanatic? Head down to Toca Social and go head-to-head with your mates to score the highest points in their amazing interactive boxes. You can book a box for either an hour or 90 minutes, with prices starting from £35 (off-peak) for the hour. The boxes can hold up to 12 people, making it a fairly cheap way to spend an hour if there are a lot of you. Don't like football? Don't fret, you can still have drinks and eat food prepared by a Michelin-trained chef!

The Grid: Cocktail-infused escape room

Combining delicious cocktails with fun, thought-provoking puzzles is The Grid, located in Bankside Arches. You'll be working undercover in the offices of evil startup Neosight as you make your way through various rooms in the quest to save the human race. There are plenty of escape room games in which you play the heroes trying to save the world, but what if you were the criminals? In The Perfect Crime, your group will be sneaking past security and evading their extensive security measures to steal a piece of art. The art in question was stolen back in 1990, and the FBI are offering up a $1 million cash reward if you can bring it to them. Will you manage to complete the heist in the 60 minutes slot? Ballie Ballerson
