Getting around campus

Finding your way around campus may take some getting used to, but we've got all the info you need to help you along the way.

Mile End

This is home to most of the academic schools at Queen Mary's and where several of our halls of residences are based along with lecture theatres, the Mile End Library and our central administrative services.

  • Stepney Green Station

Whitechapel

The Whitechapel campus is home to our School of Medicine and Dentistry. It includes the Blizard Institute, the Institute for Health Sciences Education, the Whitechapel Medical Library, the Institute of Dentistry and the Royal London Hospital.

Charterhouse Square

The medical research headquarters for the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine is based at Charterhouse Square along with the John Vane Science Centre, the Joseph Rotblat Building and the Heart Centre. There is also a hall of residence for our medical students.

West Smithfield

Some of our postgrad medical research students are based here and it is home to the St Bartholomew's hospital (Barts) and the West Smithfield Medical Library.

Lincoln's Inn Fields

The Postgraduate Law Centre is at Lincoln's Inn Fields and is home to some of our postgraduate Law students.
