Victoria Park
Ah, fresh air! It's got formal gardens, a dog park, football, tennis and cricket pitches, lakes, a café AND music festivals.

The Half Moon (Wetherspoon)
The classic Wetherspoons - cheap and cheerful! Grab a drink and some food - they have a beer garden for the summer months too

Genesis Cinema

Rinkoff Bakery
Hidden in the heart of Mile End is a famous family-run bakery that sells wonderful cakes, bread and pastries

Columbia Road Shops and Flower Market
With shops open all year round and the famous flower market on Sunday there is lots to do

Pizza Union
Love pizza? You'll find a wide range of pizza’s available all at really good prices. All made in front of you to order.

Open on Sundays the market has loads of street food, speciality restaurants, antique furniture, vintage clothes and more

East End Thrift Store
A very popular thrift store with great £1 deals or fill a bag for £10 deal!

Jack the Ripper Tours
Starting at Algate station, the tours are run by published authors and experts on the topic taking you through the old streets of Whitechapel

Sawmill café 
A family-run café and bakery with great brunch and dinner options such as goulash, vegan breakfast, pancakes and salad bowls
Walking time: 40 mins

Westfield Stratford
A brand new shopping centre next to the Olympic stadium offering everything from restaurants and bowling to cinemas and designer stores
Walking time: 40 mins

Junkyard Crazy Golf
With 4 themes courses, cocktails, and music they recommend you leave plenty of time between courses
Walking time: 45 mins

All Star Lanes Brick Lane
Based in Brick Lane with bowling, karaoke, bar and restaurant 
Walking time: 40 min

Palm Tree Pub
Time Out claims it to be the real cockney experience, whatever that means?
Walking time: 10 min
